Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ)
The Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) is the “Prescribed Qualification” which is required to demonstrate that those applying for or renewing their General Managers Certificate have received “Recent and Relevant Training” as set out in the 1999 Sale of Liquor Act Amendment.

Youth Courses
These courses are for people 16-17 years of age.
They are free for eligible participants who have left school and will prove to you that learning can be excitng and fun. You will have heaps of motivation and will be keen to get out there and take on the world.
Training Opportunities Courses
These courses are for people 18 years old plus.
They are free for eligible participants who are regsitered with Work and Income New Zealand. They will help you get into a career and give you the skills, knowledge and qualifications you need. You're confidence will be boosted and you will be keen to get out there and succeed!!
Training Opportunities &
Youth Courses
This course is for people who are 16 years old plus. It is free for eligible participants who are; 16 and
left school and 18 plus who are registered with Work and Income New Zealand. It will give you the work
experience you need to re-enter or start in the work
force.
Fee Paying Courses
These courses are designed for people who are currently working and need to acquire some skills and qualifications to pursue their career.
